The 3D reconstruction of the Osireion is the central contribution of this project. Using the methodology of Historic Building Information Modeling (HBIM), a complete architectural model was developed in Archicad โ integrating all available archaeological and survey data into a coherent three-dimensional representation of the monument.
The model covers the full extent of the Osireion as documented by Frankfort (1933): the rectangular enclosure hall with its monolithic granite pillars, the central island and surrounding water basin, the lateral chambers with their astronomical ceiling decorations, and the entrance passages.
